As Manufacturing Engineer - Shop Support, you will provide support for solving technical problems that arise in manufacturing production. Working with leading-edge technology, you will make key decisions, resolve issues and oversee projects to shape enhancements. You’ll unite Shop ops and Method Manufacturing Engineer to connect, share knowledge, innovate and to develop improvements.
 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to the production floor, identifying main causes of production stops and creating connection with method Manufacturing Engineers and Shop floor to solve issues.
  • Develop CAM programming to support immediate on machine problem solving.
  • Supporting all aspects of new tooling and method pre-production and post-launch production through completion.
  • Influencing part program design to ensure product quality and new machining method quick introduction and industrialization.

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in mechanical or manufacturing engineering discipline.
  • Good knowledge of machining process and machine tools.
  • Good team player and display good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings/specs and manufacturing processes/evaluation.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM Application and 3D Application as Unigraphic is preferred
  • Prior experience with Lean Manufacturing is preferred
  • Availability of working in shifts.

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 31,200 To 42,900.

"The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay".
