Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate Shipside Operations Specialist (Level 2) to support the LSCC team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd Shift!

The selected candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who will support the production team in Final Assembly by providing advanced technical knowledge and leadership to positively affect the team’s efficiency in its delivery of product.  

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist with activities across multiple functions to coordinate resolution of emergent issues in support of specific operations.

  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.

  • Provides limited feedback on assessment results.

  • Support the teammates in implementation of strategies and plans.

  • Works under general supervision.

  • Must maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job. 

  • Exhibits Boeing Behaviors.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, SC.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Willing and able to work 2nd shift.

  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience.

  • 3+ years of experience with the system Velocity.

  • 1+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience w/operations analysis.

  • 1+ years of experience w/root cause analysis.

  • 1+ years of experience demonstrating excellent customer service skills.

  • 1+ years of experience in leadership either formally or informally leading teams.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Summary pay range: $57,800 - $82,290.
