Let’s talk about this role

As the Senior Manager, Sustainability, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of nib’s Group Sustainability strategy and leading the execution of sustainability initiatives and ESG reporting across the Group.

You will develop and design strategies to minimise the environmental impact of nib's operations, promote social responsibility and maintain relevant governance frameworks to enable nib to meet its regulatory and legal requirements. As a recognised thought leader in sustainability, you will play a key role in promoting nib’s sustainability strategy and initiatives and leading programs to embed sustainability in nib’s culture.

Let’s talk about you

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in corporate sustainability (or related field). You have a strong track record in developing sustainability strategies, leading the execution of sustainability initiatives, and managing ESG reporting.

With proficiency in project management, you excel in overseeing and delivering sustainability projects. Your leadership skills are well-established, with proven experience in managing teams, and you bring a sharp risk mindset and strong critical thinking abilities to drive impactful outcomes. Experience with ESG disclosures and reporting in an ASX listed context will be highly regarded.

Furthermore we’re looking for someone with: 

  • Relevant degree qualification in a related discipline and/or equivalent industry experience

  • Sound commercial judgement

  • High level interpersonal skills

  • Excellent negotiation skills
