Job Profile Summary:

Designs and implements billing processes that ensure timely and accurate billing of customers.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures that invoices accurately reflect terms and conditions agreed to by the organization and comply with governmental rules and regulations.
• Investigates and resolves billing discrepancies and errors.
• Recommends improvements to billing process.
• May monitor customer accounts for timely payments and provide reports to management on overdue accounts.
• Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature
• Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project
• Comply with the requirements of the company’s Quality Management System. 

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent
• 4+ years related experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and experience with other accounting

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

• 7+ years related experience
• Well-rounded knowledge of Logistics Accounting for receivables and payables.
• Working knowledge of Cost Allocation and Freight Payment processes.
• Proficiency with operations software
• Must be confident, team-oriented person, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to make timely, appropriate, independent decisions to resolve issues.

Physical Requirements:

• Remain in a stationary/seated position for an extended period.
• Regularly required to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office machinery.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
• The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
