THE HYPERAUTOMATION TEAM
The Enterprise Architecture & Data Platforms value-stream (EADP) is accountable for enterprise data assets across the company including data & analytics platforms, data & analytics solutions governance, quality, recency, data interfaces, integration with external systems and advanced analytics capabilities. The Hyperautomation team is part of the Data Platforms value-stream and uses advanced technologies such as AI/ML to automate business and IT processes. This can include anything from simple task automation to complex decision making and agentic AI. We empower our employees and services with digital superpowers.
We are seeking a skilled Associate IT Business Analyst (BA) with healthcare business affinity and technical expertise in AI, to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in understanding the business challenge, opportunity, gathering current state process information and requirements, designing to be state process and AI / Hyperautomation solution.
Your expertise in AI and Hyperautomation will be crucial in delivering valuable automation that improve operational efficiency. As an Associate IT Business Analyst, you will liaise with our business partners and advise them on the AI & automation solutions and opportunities that will support their strategic ambitions. You will facilitate workshops with our internal customers to gather their information needs, then connect with the technical teams to produce the best set-up on how to implement the solution. You will play a key role in assessing and designing solutions from a functional perspective, while keeping our business partners informed.

- Engage with business leaders to understand how strategies and data-driven changes create business value.
- Work with data sets to define use cases to improve products, processes and/or services.
- Collaborates with Business Relationship Manager (BRM), business stakeholders and IT Product Owners / Managers to develop business requirements for product or system changes.
- Drive business agenda during solution delivery process.
- Be the first point of contact for the business stakeholders.
- Consult with senior business leaders to translate business goals into automation use cases and communicate insights, path forward, solution and pricing back to business stakeholders.
- Participate and lead in challenging projects related to AI/automation, setting up communication plans, identifying process automation needs through workshops and prototyping sessions, explore new abilities to automate, document requirements for the technical teams and facilitate user acceptance tests and deployment tasks.
- Engage with IT technical teams and IT cross-functional teams to identify the best solution
- Collaborate with our IT security, privacy, and quality department on data privacy and compliance related requirements
- Proactively identify and drive new use cases and data-driven product innovations
- Support the team with analytical and technical skills, effective communication abilities, and a positive can-do mindset.

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and 0+ years of experience
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)
- Previous Medtronic experience strongly preferred
- Ability to analyze data and trends in order to develop recommendations to solve business problems.
- Problem Solving, Detail Oriented, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Customer Service, Process Improvement, Communication.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML systems and software and technological concepts.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and data modeling methodologies.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$60,000.00 - $90,000.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
