JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Financial Analyst provides high-level financial planning, analysis, and strategic support for the Division of Academic Affairs at Marymount University. This position plays a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making to ensure the effective allocation of resources in alignment with the university’s academic and strategic goals. The Senior Financial Analyst collaborates with academic leadership, faculty, and staff to provide actionable insights that drive financial sustainability and operational excellence.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the Development and Management of the Academic Affairs Budget
Serve as key collaborator for Academic Affairs Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA)
Financial Analytics and Reporting
Technology & Financial Systems
OTHER DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
Experience
5- 7 years of related experience in higher education, preferably in academic affairs. Experience managing multi-unit budgets.

None.

Review financial transactions.

Special Knowledge
Advanced computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software (MS Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point). Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills and the ability to work with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community. Sensitive to confidentiality.
