KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 

 Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, extensive warehouse management systems experience.
  • 5+ years progressively responsible experience in managing warehouse operation.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel and Word).
  • Proven leadership abilities to effectively develop, direct, and motivate.
  • Strong analytical, attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to problem solve, multitask, and prioritize work.
  • Excellent communication, time management skills.
  • Can work independently or collaboratively to accomplish objectives and is able to interact effectively with all levels of management. 
  • Ability to work weekends if the business requires, and the ability to obtain forklift certification and operate as needed
  • Abitliy to frequently walk, climb stairs, bend/twist, and occasionally lift up to 50lbs. 

 

Preferred: SAP experience

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES 

  • Plan, direct and control a wide variety of operational assignments through management, clerical and warehouse staff. 
  • Follow broadly based directives and operate independently in accomplishing organizational goals. 
  • Communicate with management on operational issues, utilization of schedules and statistical analysis on a daily basis. 
  • Use sound judgment in analyzing issues, and establishing innovative solutions. 
  • Recognize the importance and provides excellent customer service to both external and internal customers and develop methods that will improve customer satisfaction. 
  • Systematically handle daily work challenges and adjusts effectively to multiple demands, shifting priorities and rapid change. 
  • Prepare reports for Distribution Center Management regarding department performance standards.
