Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer with expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse technology to join our team and ensure the delivery of exceptional quality software applications for warehouse operations. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases to identify and prevent defects across WMS platforms and warehouse-related solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct an in-depth analysis of business processes and operations within warehouses, with a focus on WMS workflows and configurations.
  • Gather and document requirements related to testing aspects of WMS and warehouse technology solutions.
  • Communicate and collaborate with product owners, end users, and engineering peers to identify issues and develop the correct solutions.
  • Design test strategies and approaches that take end-user functionality into play to ensure a solution is fully built and tested.
  • Write automated/manual test cases for WMS applications and warehouse-integrated systems.
  • Automate smoke and regression test cases using various tools.
  • Perform root cause analysis and report software bugs related to WMS functionalities.
  • Perform risk analysis of any new/updated features, especially those impacting warehouse operations.

Expected Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience designing, developing, maintaining, and executing testing solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in using test management tools like JIRA.
  • Familiarity with test automation using Java or other object-oriented programming languages.
  • Good understanding of database management systems and strong SQL querying skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Firm grasp of QE processes, best practices, testing techniques, and methodologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proven ability to work with enterprise-scale applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse and supply chain domain.
  • Experience in testing warehouse applications & rugged devices used in warehouses.
  • Experience with performance optimization and testing.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in microservices-based application testing & real-time data synchronization.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration using Jenkins.
