Summary:
As an Operations Engineer, you will support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the systems and services.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and development and QA of ServiceNow solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.
• Mentorship and Coaching: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and team members to ensure high-quality delivery of ServiceNow solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and prioritize demands.
Professional & Technical Skills:
• Design and implement ServiceNow workflows, forms, reports, and dashboards to streamline business processes.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to optimize ServiceNow applications.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on ServiceNow features, enhancements, and best practices, contributing to the team's continued success.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on ServiceNow capabilities, providing guidance on platform architecture and configuration.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and deployment guides.
• Provide weekly status reporting on progress made for both development and QA teams
Additional Information:
• 5+ years of experience implementing ServiceNow solutions.
• 3+ years of experience leading ServiceNow development teams.
• 2+ years of experience implementing ServiceNow integrations.
• Strong proficiency in using scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript), XML, HTML
• Certification: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
• Ability to independently design and lead complex user interfaces, integrations and workflows.
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Any of the below ServiceNow mainline certifications:
o Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
o Certified Implementation Specialist – IT Service Management
o Certified Application Developer
• Any of the below micro-certifications:
o Micro-Certification - Flow Designer
o Micro-Certification - Integration Hub
o Micro-Certification - Agile and Test Management Implementation
o Micro-Certification - Configure the CMDB
o Micro-Certification – Automated Test Framework
