The Operational Services Process Improvement Manager will lead root cause analysis and end-to-end process improvement initiatives across Operational Services, ensuring alignment with ODI, KPI, customer, environmental, and regulatory outcomes. You will manage a specialist team, turning insights from operational events into sustainable performance improvements, enhanced resilience, and measurable value for the organisation. 
 
This role requires exceptional leadership, stakeholder influence, and the ability to drive strategic change across a fast-paced operational environment. You will embed continuous improvement thinking, build cross-functional relationships, and ensure learning from operational events leads to long-term performance gains. 

 

What you'll be doing 

• Lead and develop the RCA and Process Improvement team, ensuring alignment to strategy and ODI delivery 

• Develop and implement process improvement frameworks that drive measurable operational and customer performance 

• Oversee governance, reporting, and benefit realisation frameworks 

 Facilitate cross-functional engagement and influence stakeholders at all levels 

• Deliver sustainable improvement actions with measurable benefits 

• Drive proactive risk management and operational resilience 

• Forecast workload, manage resources, and plan future capability needs 

• Embed Health & Safety excellence and continuous improvement 

 

What we’re looking for 

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience 

• Significant leadership experience in process improvement or operational resilience 

• Proven ability to oversee RCA and drive sustainable change 

• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills 

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (minimum) 

• Ability to realise benefits and embed long-term improvements 

• Advanced facilitation, governance, and reporting capability
