Job Overview
The Rates Senior Data Analyst bridges advanced analytics and business strategy to drive data-informed pricing and rate decisions. This role is responsible for developing and implementing predictive and prescriptive models while translating complex data insights into actionable business recommendations. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, the analyst gathers requirements, defines business problems, and delivers scalable analytical solutions. This position plays a key role in aligning analytics initiatives with organizational goals and ensuring measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics models to support pricing and rate optimization
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment on objectives and outcomes
  • Build, run, and refine predictive and prescriptive models to solve complex business problems
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to pricing, demand, and revenue performance
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights clearly and effectively
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Conduct scenario analysis, forecasting, and what-if modeling to support decision-making
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation of business and analytical processes
  • Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices across analytics and business analysis functions
  • Continuously improve analytical approaches, tools, and processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business analysis, pricing, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis and analytical methodologies
  • Strong analytical thinking combined with business acumen
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with pricing, rate modeling, or revenue optimization
  • Experience with Python for data analysis 
  • Knowledge of A/B testing, experimentation, and scenario analysis
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

The position is based in Atlanta, Georgia and will require commuting to office.  Employer will not sponsor a visa for this position.  Must be currently in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself.
