Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the seamless operation of essential applications. You will engage in problem-solving activities, analyze system performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems, all while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality support to users and stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead the administration and operation of complex SAP system landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, BTP etc.) ensuring 24/7 availability.
Cloud Transformation & Integration: Drive cloud transformation initiatives, including migrations to hyperscalers (AZURE) and integrating on-premises systems with BTP services.
SAP BTP Platform Management: Design, deploy, and manage SAP BTP environments, including configuring account models, sub-accounts, spaces, and setting up monitoring and alerts.
SAP BTP Services proficiency: Work zone, SAP Cloud connector, SAP IBP, ARIBA, SAP Integration Suite (CPI), and Cloud ALM.
System Lifecycle Management: Manage the full lifecycle of SAP systems, including installations, upgrades (SPS/ FPS), patching, kernel updates, system copies, and disaster recovery planning.
Database Administration: Provide expertise in SAP HANA database administration, including performance tuning, backup/restore procedures, and high availability/disaster recovery (HADR) setup.
Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with security policies and knowledge on SAP BTP Security areas such as IAS etc.
Technical Leadership: Mentor junior consultants, provide expert guidance to stakeholders, and lead technical projects with cross-functional teams.
Technical Expertise (Basis): Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture, S/4HANA, Fiori configuration, and Web Dispatcher.

- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
- Must To Have Skills: Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and database management.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in SAP environments.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
