Your Mission

As a student working in our Industry Group – Utilities, you will play a key role in shaping our financial reporting to improve forecasting accuracy and support business growth. You'll be part of an interdisciplinary team, using your analytical skills and creativity to make financial performance visible, measurable, and actionable.

With a strong grasp of numbers and digital tools, you will develop interactive dashboards and financial reports that highlight departmental performance, uncover insights, and propose corrective actions to optimize results.

What to Expect
 

As our Finance Intern, you’ll work directly with the department head to:

• Create financial reports that bring clarity to revenue, cost, and profitability figures
• Build interactive dashboards (e.g., in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau) to visualize key financial KPIs
• Analyze P&L data to identify trends, variances, and areas of opportunity
• Support monthly reporting and budgeting processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers behind the numbers

This is a hands-on role with real impact — perfect if you're looking to develop both technical and business acumen.

 

What We’re Looking For

• You are available as a working student for at least 6 months and are currently enrolled as a student
• You are in an advanced Bachelor’s program (four or more successfully completed semesters) or have started a Master’s program, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• You have initial experience in creating financial report & dashboard
• You’re motivated to delve into complex topics related to finance controlling activities
• You express yourself clearly and confidently in English. Dutch and/or French is a plus
