As a Training Specialist for Business Development (BDR), you will be responsible for designing, delivering and coordinating all on-boarding training/testing for Business Development. You will also facilitate, design and develop training material as needed. You’ll track, monitor and communicate progress of participants to BDR leadership team.

Additional duties include the following:
Deliver 3 week on-boarding program for Business Development Representative new hires
You will deliver training in-person at our corporate office while also delivering supplemental training via digital classroom.
Deliver knowledge on industry & equipment knowledge, sales tools, sales methodology, and sales strategy
Partner with BDR leadership team on continuous improvements to program and incorporate enhancements to deliver better prepared Outside Sales Reps
Identify program and technology training improvement opportunities to continually evolve the remote education process
Deliver to other sales positions in the organization when called upon
Partner with SDP Leadership to build and manage training schedule for new hires
Coordinate all logistics for each portion of the training
Other duties assigned as needed
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field preferred
3-5 years training or related experience in a business setting preferred
Equipment Rental Experience Preferred
Sales Experience preferred
Excellent PC skills, with a high level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint & Word
Ability to build partnerships both inside United Rentals and with vendors to support initiatives
Adhere to company policy and standards on all travel
10% travel
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
