You will join Zoom at a period when its doc experiences are growing in impact and visibility. Your work will support products used by millions of people, helping improve how they create and collaborate every day. This role is designed to help you build strong design fundamentals through real product work. You will learn how design decisions are made, reviewed, and shipped in a thriving global product team.

About the team

You will be part of the Zoom Docs team, which focuses on designing collaborative doc experiences that extend how people work inside Zoom. The team works closely with product managers, engineers, and designers globally. Interns and early career designers are supported through regular feedback, exposure to experienced partners, and clear guidance on how to grow both craft and confidence while contributing to real work.

Responsibilities

• Participating in day-to-day product and visual design work that supports Zoom’s doc experiences

• Designing and refining polished, and visual content that can be used at scale

• Collaborating with designers, engineers, and product partners to bring ideas from concept to delivery

• Assisting with creative exploration through visual research, inspiration gathering, and competitive reviews

• Contributing to maintaining visual consistency through shared design patterns and assets

• Supporting design discussions, reviews, and team workshops to learn how decisions are made

What we’re looking for

• Be enrolled in an undergraduate program or higher in graphic design, visual communication, digital media, fine arts, or a related field

• Apply creative thinking and artistic sensibility, passionate about visual storytelling and innovative design solutions.

• Be proficient in creative and visual design tools (such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.).

• Demonstrate strong visual instincts across layout, typography, and hierarchy through coursework or personal projects

• Possess a thoughtful approach to feedback and a willingness to learn and improve

• Communicate clearly and collaborate well in a distributed team environment

• Be available to intern at least 4 days per week, for a minimum of 3 months

• Exposure to designing digital or product-focused experiences with motion, video, or interactive design tools; as well as using AI tools as part of a creative or design workflow will be an added advantage

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$25,75

Maximum:

$88,00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
