Role purpose

Join a high-performing Risk & Compliance team where you’ll play a critical role in enabling the business to operate with integrity, confidence, and strong governance. As a Compliance Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of a best-in-class compliance program while partnering with stakeholders to embed practical, effective controls across the organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a visible, business-facing role where you can influence decision-making, uplift compliance maturity, and work closely with senior leaders and regulators.

What you’ll be responsible for

In this role, your key areas of focus will include:

  • Compliance Program Leadership – Lead and continuously enhance the compliance management program to support strategic and operational objectives
  • Regulatory Oversight – Monitor regulatory change and ensure obligations (including AFSL, AML/CTF, and Real Estate licensing) are effectively understood and embedded
  • Business Integration & Advisory – Partner with the business to integrate compliance obligations into decision-making and day-to-day operations
  • Controls, Policies & Frameworks – Implement and maintain practical compliance controls, policies, and procedures
  • Monitoring & Assurance – Oversee and deliver assurance activities, including control testing, issue tracking, and remediation to strengthen risk management practices
  • Reporting, Training & Engagement – Deliver regulatory reporting, build compliance awareness through training, and engage stakeholders across all levels

What you’ll bring

You’re a proactive, solutions-focused compliance professional who enjoys partnering with the business to drive strong outcomes. You will also demonstrate:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in compliance, risk, or regulatory environments
  • Strong ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements in a practical way
  • Experience working with regulators and managing regulatory reporting obligations
  • A track record of building trusted relationships and influencing stakeholders across different levels of the business
  • The ability to identify issues and develop innovative, pragmatic solutions
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and adaptability, with the confidence to operate in a dynamic environment
