Hi there! Thanks for stopping by 👋
Are you actively looking for a new opportunity? Or just checking the market? Well… you might just be in the right place!
As the Director of Enablement, you will be responsible for developing and leading a world-class Enablement function, collaborating with the GTM Leadership teams to design and implement strategic initiatives that support new hires’ onboarding, as well as product and role-specific training and enablement.Your department will oversee the following functions: Sales Engineering, GTM Training, GTM Enablement (Sales, Customer, External Partners), and Field Sales Ops teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a world-class Enablement Team within Lightspeed focused on delivering impactful training and enablement solutions. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, ensuring the team delivers content that enhances performance and productivity.
- Enterprise-Level Training Program Development: Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive, scalable training programs for global GTM teams. Leverage expertise in instructional design to create engaging learning experiences that drive sales effectiveness and align with organisational goals. This includes managing Lightspeed’s educational and training materials, ensuring consistency and accessibility across all GTM business units.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with leaders from Product, PMM, Marketing, IS, Customer Success, and Sales to gather insights and develop best-in-class training content. Lead the Center of Excellence (CoE) for your region’s Enablement pod, applying and adapting the Enablement framework to meet regional needs. Ensure all stakeholders adhere to the RACI model, providing well-coordinated enablement materials that empower reps and managers to excel.
- Analysis: Establish and manage a metrics framework to measure the effectiveness of training programs and their impact on performance. Analyze content adoption, sales assessments, and performance metrics to continuously refine training initiatives and develop high-performing teams.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain and ensure the team’s high level of expertise in the company’s products, services, and industry trends. Integrate this knowledge into training programs to enable effective communication of product value to prospects and clients.
- Market Research: Act as the primary point of contact for competitor insights, integrating findings into training materials. Stay updated on competitive news, product roadmaps, and GTM strategies to inform and enhance training content.
- Strategic Support: Assist the Managing Director in key strategic and leadership projects, contributing expertise in training and enablement to broader company initiatives.
What you need to bring:
- A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, engineering, or technology, is often required. A master's degree in business or a related discipline may be preferred but is not always necessary.
