13The Team:
The implementation consulting project management team is a global team working with product solutions and engineering teams to successfully deliver client implementations for S&P Global's product portfolio across its post trade solutions.
As an international team of industry experts, we architect and deliver software applications to the capital markets globally. We have a proven history of transforming business models for the world’s premier financial institutions, enabling them to enter new markets, reduce risk, increase profitability and improve service standards. We have a growing team in the APAC region and are currently looking to recruit a project manager to manage and deliver projects in the Australian market.
Responsibilities and Impact:
This role involves managing large product implementations that involve high degree of product development effort and customization.
Driving clients and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered according to defined scope, dates and budget.
Project management, leadership, dependency management and cross-group collaboration skills with a proven track record of leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders/partners.
Ability to engage competently with client at all levels of the organisation, through to CxO level.
P&L responsibility for the project.
Contribute as required to process improvements, pre-sales and team development initiatives within the team.
Basic Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree & 7+ years of experience in program/project management delivering software products or services, product development in regulatory reporting or capital markets domain or equivalent experience in financial services.
3+ years of experience working in a similar product & solutions company with exposure to post trade automation business domain or similar experience.
Proven track record of successfully delivering highly complex multi-million dollar projects within the financial services industry.
Good written, presentation, and verbal communications skills that can applied across organizational levels.
Good business knowledge in post trade automation space.
Excellent client facing skills. A good communicator with strong relationship building skills.
Good commercial awareness and governance.
Training or understanding of standard project management methodologies e.g. PMI.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent influencer with proven ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organization.
7+ years of experience in program/project management experience in financial services/solutions vendor organizations OR equivalent experience.
Certification in project/program management (PMP OR equivalent).
Flexible and adaptable to project needs and changing priorities. Strong interpersonal skills with practical, can-do approach.
Ability to work to strict deadlines and manage own time accordingly.
