Responsibilities:

• Responsible leadership of the Manufacturing Engineering & Planning department at the Eurasburg site, covering 4 areas: CAM, Tool Management, Work Preparation, and Planning for component manufacturing, with approximately 45 employees and 3 Operations Managers as direct reports.
• Accountability for the strategic development and implementation of digitalization and automation initiatives within order‑processing workflows.
•  Ensuring a productive and flexible manufacturing process to best achieve cost, schedule, and quality targets.
• Identification and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance on‑time delivery in component manufacturing.
• Responsible for awarding manufacturing orders to internal and external extended workbenches to balance capacity fluctuations in component production.
• Close collaboration with interface departments such as Component Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Seal Order Planning, Industrial Engineering, Purchasing, etc.

Qualifications:

• Completed technical degree combined with solid business management knowledge
• Several years of professional experience in a production environment, including core competencies in planning & control, CAM & tool management, and digitalization
• Several years of leadership experience as an Operations Director with a corresponding strategic background
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Analytical mindset and a solution‑oriented working style
• Business‑fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken (CEF B2/C1)
