As a Release Train Engineer, you will be leading and facilitating the execution of an Agile Release Train (ART) by coaching teams, managing program-level risks and dependencies, and ensuring smooth program execution. As a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART), you will be responsible for facilitating ART processes, improving delivery flow, and ensuring alignment between teams and business objectives. The RTE drives program execution, dependency management, and continuous improvement to enable predictable and high-quality value delivery. You will serve as a coach and mentor to our team – helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring that the team is meeting its objectives consistently Your typical day will involve coordinating with various teams to ensure project milestones are met, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and overseeing the development process to ensure alignment with PI goals through Scrum of scrums and Product Owner Sync. You will also engage in problem-solving discussions, providing guidance and support to your scrum masters and team members while fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a RTE (Release Train Engineer) - Facilitate PI Planning, ART Syncs, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt sessions. - Support teams in delivering PI objectives and managing risks, dependencies, and impediments. - Drive continuous improvement by tracking ART-level metrics and facilitating retrospectives. - Partner with Product Management, System Architects, and Business Owners for strategy alignment. - Promote Lean-Agile principles and coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams on best practices. - Maintain ART transparency through effective use of tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). - Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and flow optimization across teams. - Improving flow - Building high-performing teams - Improving ART Performance with the help of leading and lagging indicators - Should be able to understand KPI & OKRs and able to guide teams Professional & Technical Skills: - Must to Have Skills: Proficiency in RTE, Agile Program Manager or Senior Scrum Master role. Good to have SAFe Certified RTE or relevant certifications. - Strong understanding of SAFe, Scrum & Kanban framework. - Experience with stakeholder management and communication. - Ability to manage program risks and implement mitigation strategies. - Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as JIRA or Trello. - Deep understanding of SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean-Agile principles. - Experience managing cross-team dependencies and large-scale Agile delivery.
