Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Operations Leader to join our growing team in Troy, MI!
To lead, direct and manage the operations & procedures of the Employee Benefits Department toward the achievement of high-quality service and deliverables to the Agency's clients, while driving an operationally compliant and highly productive administrative support team.
How You Will Contribute:
Responsible for the productivity, quality & staffing of the Employee Benefits service operations unit. Identify training needs and developmental requirements for personnel, assisting in the motivation, training and the operational development of the staff. Work with individuals to sharpen and strengthen these skills.
Oversight of all Quality Control polices, guidelines and serve as the Quality Control liaison with the region as well as our corporate team. Train team on internal procedures and workflows.
Work alongside PCL and other department team leads in planning and budgetary functions in order to make recommendations or meet objectives.
Responsible for the on-going development & adherence of the operational processes and procedures of the department.
Responsible for the on-going development & management of the departments template library & procedure manual.
Collaborate with the sub-department leads on implementing and integrating services necessary to retain and grow overall client base and department revenue. Services including Compliance, Marketing & Analytics, Technology, Eligibility, Member Engagement as well as Member Services.
Fostering an understanding and providing oversight of carrier/vendor/third party administrator, administrative relations & systems, including key alliances needed to deliver services to clients.
Oversee the annual enrollment process including content development, collaboration with key stakeholders, vendor management, meeting logistics and delivery, and overall project management.
Licenses & Certifications:
Active & unencumbered Life, Accident, and Health License is required.
Skills & Experience to be Successful:
Previous experience in the Employee Benefits field is required.
Five years or more of industry-related work experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional telephone demeanor.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline or commensurate experience.
