Job Description​

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our Imaging team. This will be a part time day position that will provide diagnostic vascular exams in an outpatient setting; arterial duplex, physiologic testing, vein mapping for insufficiency, and vein procedures. To be successful, you will need to be able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, task oriented, resourceful, and possess strong communication skills. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, performing ultrasound exams to assist in direct patient care. Shift Details:

  • Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays

  • No holidays

  • No weekends

Required:

  • ARDMS

  • RVT

  • BLS

The Work:

· Perform a variety of Ultrasound exams, including, but not limited to, Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Vein Mapping, Pediatric (Will vary by location)

· Perform Ultrasound Guided procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, FNA, and biopsies(Will vary by location and shift)

Applicable Experience:

1 year

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Reg Diag Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Reg Vascular Technologist - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Associate Degree - Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound
