This position is responsible for building and continuously improving affiliate risk management environment through leading and developing multi raise-the-bar projects in Lilly China (e.g. digital and automation solutions development), conducting risk-based monitoring activities and programs with high integrity.

This role will collaborate cross-functionally across many different levels to drive high quality risk assessment, execute risk management strategy, and conduct risk detection and prevention capabilities of the affiliate. The role will report to Associate Director, Ethics and Compliance, leading monitoring and data intelligence.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Conduct Monitoring on New Business Initiatives and Emerging Risks: Proactively design and conduct risk-based monitoring activities following continuous risk assessment (quarter to quarter), focusing on affiliate level prioritized and evolving risk areas. Identify potential high-risk case/pattern/trends (if any) and timely escalate with management.
  • Perform as Project Leader to drive affiliate-level dynamic risk assessment and detection process, including but not limited to: Lead system integration and automation transformation projects in Lilly China; Continuously drive automation risk detection leveraging advanced digital solutions; Be responsible for E&C automation risk governance establishment.
  • Integrated data analysis and insights generation: Proactively share insights from integrated data source. Work closely with E&C BPs and cross functional teams to perform proactive and prompt preventive/corrective actions.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Experience Related:
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Risk management related experience 8+ years (Healthcare related industry is preferred)
    • Monitoring related experience is preferred
  • Capabilities:
    • Strong capability on project management, especially leading digital project, 0-1 platform building, etc.
    • Strong capability on data analysis. Sensitive with data, and with insightful thoughts
    • Strong strategic and conceptual skills with the ability to bridge to action and execution
    • Fluent English writing & communication
    • Good at Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
