Job Description:

Engineer III 


Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of the following PulsePoint location. 609 H St NE, Suite 200, Washington, DC 20002.


Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm


The Engineer III will collaborate with developers and designers to create mobile applications.


How you will make an impact:


•    Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements to solutions.
•    Create reusable, effective, and scalable code.
•    Lead discussions on UI architecture and code decisions.
•    Provide support for leaders and team through Agile process.
•    Design the data and presentation layer for mobile and web front-end.
•    Use JavaScript libraries to manage application, derive data and make API calls.

Minimum Requirements: 


Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in related occupation(s).

Additional Requirements: 


Three (3) years of experience must include: 


•    Three (3) years of experience with each of the following: Developing React JS-based applications with either Redux or IOS and Android native applications.
•    GraphQL, REST API integration, and Adobe Analytics; JavaScript, Node JS, Styled Components, and Webpack related to React Front End Development.
•    Designing and developing reusable front-end frameworks, node modules, and tools.
•    Working in at least one of the following: HTML5, CSS3, or Object Oriented JavaScript (ES5 & ES6).
•    Working in an Agile and Scrum environment. 
•    The position also requires one (1) year of experience with the following: Architecture, design, development, troubleshooting, test automation and performance tuning and benchmarking of complex enterprise systems.
•    One (1) year of experience working in complex enterprise systems.
