About This Role:
As a Vendor Master Data Intern, you will play a vital role within our dynamic VMD team, contributing to essential activities related to vendor onboarding, data maintenance, and ensuring database integrity. This 12-month internship offers you hands-on experience with Vendor Master Data processes, allowing you to leverage your university-level accounting and business knowledge within a real shared services environment. You will be responsible for managing vendor data processes, verifying information accuracy, and supporting data integrity initiatives. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality and compliance of our vendor management systems, directly impacting the efficiency and reliability of our service offerings.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct regular outbound calls to vendors to verify and confirm bank account details, adhering to internal policies and security requirements.
  • Support the vendor creation and maintenance process in the system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with global standards.
  • Perform Vendor Master Data cleanup tasks based on provided instructions to enhance data quality, consistency, and process efficiency.
  • Document confirmations in line with internal control and compliance requirements.
  • Escalate discrepancies or situations where verification cannot be completed.
  • Prepare simple reports summarizing cleanup progress, such as the number of records updated.
  • Assist in the onboarding process by creating new vendor records in the ERP system.
  • Update existing vendor data, including addresses, contact details, tax information, and bank details.
  • Check submitted documentation for completeness and accuracy before processing.
  • Collaborate with P2P teams and business requesters to resolve missing or unclear information.

Who You Are:
You are a detail-oriented individual with a strong eagerness to learn and a willingness to challenge the status quo. Your analytical skills and comfort with multitasking allow you to navigate complex environments with ease. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to interact effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders. Your international mindset and team-player attitude make you a valuable asset to the VMD team. You are comfortable working in Excel and financial ERPs, such as Oracle, and have a professional fluency in English, with additional languages considered an advantage.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional fluency in English; additional languages are considered a plus.
  • Comfortable working in Excel and financial ERPs (e.g., Oracle).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic analytical skills.

Additional information:

  • This is a 12-month internship, up to 32 hours per week, with an hourly rate of 31,40 PLN.

  • Candidates must based in Poland, have a valid work permit, and be fluent in Polish.
