Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Implement HR actions, programs, and initiatives linked to business plans
Partner with management on specific people and talent implications and actions
Advise client groups on programs or strategies that impact the attraction, motivation, development and retention of the people resources of the business
Plan and operate in partnering with business leaders and managers to solve issues and gain approvals when necessary
Collaborate with COE (Platform) experts to execute and implement large scale HR initiatives (i.e. roll out annual programs, new programs/policies, etc.)
Provide HR support and coaching to leaders on HR policies and processes, people management, and career development
Counsel and/or coach leaders, managers and employees regarding employee relations issues including performance management, facilitation of formal/informal investigations, and any resulting disciplinary actions
Conduct Employee Relations investigations and provide recommendation for resolution
Ensure effective talent attraction and management including recruitment, assessment, and development
Assist managers in assessing and identifying resources to meet employee training needs
Drive effective compensation equity and planning processes for the assigned client group
Support the HR functional teams (i.e. talent acquisition, compensation, etc.) with large scale HR initiatives and annual processes
Act as a change agent and support key change management initiatives for the site and/or assigned business teams
Promote use of the Colleague Service Center to solicit HR process/functional advice
Participate in the broader regional HR team to enable HR projects and initiatives
Partner with site, HR, and Business leaders to guide on site activities, shape culture, and drive employee engagement
Perform other duties as assigned
Works to develop the HR strategy that meets short-term priorities whilst focusing on long term business objectives.
Gain commitment and engagement from key stakeholders to ensure understanding and implementation of actions that enable the business to achieve its strategic objectives. Minimise risk by meeting any local legal, regulatory or data privacy requirements whilst driving global, regional or divisional programmes.
Drive agreement for corporate HR programmes and provide a high level of HR expertise at all times.
Partner with all specialist HR platforms (Culture and Counsel, Talent, Total Rewards, and HR Productivity and Operations) as necessary to support business needs.
