This position offers a unique opportunity to serve as the finance lead, owning the financial performance and driving business impact across all operational areas. The role is responsible for overseeing spend, managing financial forecasts, and building strong business partnerships with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Planning, Engineering, Quality, Operational Excellence, and Plant Management.

As the finance leader, you will support all financial aspects of plant operations, including programmatic savings, headcount tracking, capital forecasting, volume analysis, manufacturing variance analysis, inventory management, and cost center spend reporting. In addition to supporting core manufacturing operations, the role also provides financial oversight for R&D activities across multiple sites. This includes partnering with engineering and program management teams to ensure proper accounting treatment of R&D spending, supporting program-level. This role is ideal for a finance professional seeking to expand their impact through cross-functional collaboration, operational excellence, and strategic support of both manufacturing and innovation-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Serve as the finance lead, providing strategic financial support to plant leadership and driving financial performance across all areas of manufacturing operations.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial planning and analysis for the site, including spend management, forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Operational Excellence to influence operational decisions and ensure cost-effective execution.
  • Support R&D activities across sites by collaborating with engineering and program management teams to ensure proper financial oversight, accurate accounting treatment, and leverage of cost efficiencies in development efforts.
  • Lead key processes such as programmatic savings tracking, headcount monitoring, capital forecasting, volume and manufacturing variance analysis, inventory analysis, and cost center spend reporting.
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and provide financial modeling support, including analysis of rates of return, depreciation, working capital, cash flow, and investment performance.
  • Analyze financial performance by comparing actual results against budget and forecast, providing variance explanations and actionable insights.
  • Prepare and review reports of findings and recommendations to support business decisions and performance improvement.
  • Consolidate and analyze financial plans to support strategic site objectives and provide financial insights to leadership.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance operational specifications for financial systems to improve information flow, reporting capabilities, and overall financial transparency.
  • Support ad hoc financial analyses and business case development for site initiatives, including potential business development opportunities and performance monitoring at the unit or division level.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Requires minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
