Director of Operations, Contract Management Operations (CMO)

Description -

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own the Operations Tower of CMO which includes leading a highly engaged Global team of HP employees and Outsourced partner who focus on the Order to Invoicing Operations.
  • Be the advocate for innovation and change across the organization, demonstrate thought leadership.
  • Accountable for the success of the team in achieving the defined Operational performance levels & KPIs. 
  • Collaborate with the Process & Compliance Tower of CMO in defining the strategy & roadmap for the future and execute the strategy.
  • Stakeholder management of Market Services Sales teams, proactively understanding their needs and the needs of Customers and Partners, executing the Operational Strategy
  • Drive execution of Compliance & SOX requirements defined for CMO.
  • Strategically align & influence the priorities of Market teams, WS and other stakeholders.

Experience and Leadership behaviors:

  • Advanced Degree is strongly preferred.
  • Degree and 10+ years of related experience in running large operations groups, ideally in Sales Operations, Back-office Operations or Customer support roles.
  • Experience building a large, scalable Operations team and working with Outsourced partners.
  • Must have a proven track record of building strong partnership with stakeholder groups.
  • Significant business relationship-building skills with multiple organizations and comfort working in a matrixed environment.
  • Practical self-starter; motivated to learn and improve.
  • Strategic Agility: Be ready for a constantly changing environment & adapt strategy very quickly.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Managing large strategic vendors operations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead transformation of an organization to a services mindset, with customer centricity, thought leadership and strong change management leadership, while inspiring and maintaining engagement of our teams, internal stakeholders, and partners
  • Balance between Effectiveness & Efficiency in large operations set up.
  • Working in a Global ecosystem with coverage across markets.
  • Lead effectively in a complex environment and deliver results; be able to influence with or without direct authority; able to balance between competing priorities and be flexible and creative.
  • Strong resiliency, and entrepreneurial spirit.  Ability to operate in a rapidly changing environment and be comfortable with uncertainty and volatility.  Be comfortable with prioritization and reprioritization as business strategies evolve and be able to make decisions quickly.
  • Demonstrate broad knowledge of end-to-end business aspects like revenue recognition, credit & collections, sales compensation
  • Exceptional skills in management of people and building business relationships and partnerships across geographies, businesses, and functions.
  • Knowledge in organizational design and planning and team productivity in a cross-functional organization.
  • Excellent communication skills catering to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Strong leadership and staff development skills.
