CMC Markets are hiring! We are currently recruiting for an Associate Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join the Stockbroking team as a member of the Account Management squad . Please note that this role is only open to Sydney based candidates with full working rights (Citizen/Permanent Resident).

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join the Platform and Systems Domain. The purpose of this role is to assist with strategic projects, new feature development, product roadmap features and BAU changes to the stockbroking software stack in the account management squad. The purpose of this role is to implement the required business process improvements to resolve the ongoing operational inefficiencies experienced by customers on the platform.

Please note that we operate onsite working and would require you to come into our Barangaroo office 5 days per week.

Key Skills And Experience

• Good understanding of C#, 2-4 years’ experience.
• ASP.Net & Web API experience.
• MSSQL 2-4 years’ experience.
• Entity Framework experience.
• Working knowledge and experience in using ASP.net, Angular 1+, React or other web development technologies.
• AWS experience is highly advantageous
• Comfortable with contributing to complex technical discussions.
• Self-motivated individual who can take ownership of tasks.
• Good understanding of user experience best practices
• Ability to test own work on a good level
• Recent practical hands-on development experience in an agile commercial environment
