Logan Health is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Scheduling Specialist to support our integrated Hematology, Oncology & Palliative Medicine Clinic. In this important role, you will help keep care moving seamlessly for patients and providers by coordinating appointments, supporting clinic workflow, and serving as a key connection point across teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, compassionate, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Schedule appointments for the Palliative Medicine team, supporting Logan Health Medical Center inpatient services, Hospice, and the outpatient clinic
  • Coordinate scheduling needs related to palliative medicine and associated specialties, including hospice and oncology
  • Maintain accurate scheduling, documentation, and communication between patients, providers, and care teams
  • Support efficient clinic flow and provider scheduling
  • Collaborate across teams to maintain accurate records and reduce duplicate patient information
  • Assist with clinic operations in a dynamic environment and provide support wherever needed

What You Bring

  • One (1) or more of the following preferred:
  • Post-high school education or vocational training in healthcare
  • Experience in healthcare or customer service
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to accurately type 45 WPM preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Knowledge of palliative medicine and related specialties such as hospice and oncology required

Shift:

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
