How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Our Inside Sales/Total Access team markets PPE safety supplies, welding equipment and industrial gas through telesales channels to new and existing customers. Our highly trained professionals are a key component of the Airgas omnichannel approach to the market. Total Access provides the unique connection to everything Airgas has to offer.

Over the past year, our channel has experienced a renaissance where many customers prefer virtual interaction (phone or web). Our virtual approach also helps us reach many customers in keeping with our green sustainability focus. We are looking for career minded individuals seeking a path that provides training, engagement and great advancement opportunities.

What will I be doing?

  • First and foremost, our training is unparalleled and includes a deep understanding of the products that we sell, their applications and applicable regulations. Training also includes SOPs, software and on-site welding (not mandatory) so that we can represent the products and applications we sell knowledgeably. The initial training period is 4 weeks and also includes sales development training.
  • Once the initial training period is completed, you will continue to receive training throughout your career. We are constantly told that our team is the best trained in the nation.
  • Commercial leads are provided. You will be aligned with a Sales Team focused on a specific US geography or market.
  • Once you have completed the training and introductory period successfully, you will be eligible to manage existing customers / territory. Upon being assigned a sizable additional responsibility, you will earn additional compensation.
  • This is an inside sales role, enabling you to begin a rewarding career with Airgas. You will manage a territory, plan your sales pipeline and professionally work to maintain and grow business through use of the telephone and digital means. You will work closely with our stores, distribution centers, and field personnel.
  • We make it our mission to provide honest, sincere and courteous assistance to the customer's needs including necessary follow up to ensure that the customer's expectations are met, or exceeded. As a key point of contact, you will handle all aspects of a customer's questions and requests.
  • As part of your customer interaction, you will make pricing decisions and provide written and verbal pricing quotes to customers in an organized, timely and professional manner.
  • As with any sales role, you will have certain metrics that must be met. Primarily this is focused on sales and gross margin. You will strategically use a Sales Plan to build a focused pipeline of opportunities that will lead you to achieving or exceeding goal.

  • We provide our team a BASE salary rate, in addition to monthly incentive bonus. Additional income is realized thorough promotional winnings and lucrative over-goal commission when achieved.
