What We’re Looking For

Are you a passionate software engineer who thrives on solving complex problems and building scalable, cloud-native applications? We’re looking for a  Software Engineer, you will:

• Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure application features within EROAD’s SaaS platform.
• Collaborate with team members to analyse requirements, estimate effort, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Follow best practices for code design, version control, automated testing, and continuous delivery.
• Build and maintain test automation suites to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to decisions around microservices, APIs, and event-driven design.
• Continuously monitor system performance and contribute to performance tuning and scalability improvements.
• Research and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to improve the team’s efficiency and code quality.
• Work in a self-managed agile environment where collaboration, accountability, and innovation are key.

Skills and Experience

We’re looking for someone with a strong technical background, collaborative mindset, and passion for clean, scalable, and maintainable code.

You’ll bring:

• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.
• Experience designing and developing software in microservice architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud-native solutions.
• Strong SQL skills and experience building efficient database queries.
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON OpenAPI specifications.
• Understanding of design patterns, event-driven architecture, and Domain Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and containerisation (especially Docker).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Familiarity with React, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Elastic Search is an advantage.
