What you’ll do:

The Senior Product Designer crafts intuitive, user-centered solutions that balance business goals with user needs, collaborating across product, engineering & beyond to deliver impactful product experiences. They lead design strategy, mentor team members, and advocate for design excellence throughout the product development lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities:

  • For your area, own product design from ideation to execution while working closely with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
  • Work with product managers to identify problems and opportunities in the product, keeping business outcomes such as user engagement and revenue in mind.
  • Champion great user experience and communicate user concerns, motivations and feedback, both internally and externally. Be the voice of the user within your team.
  • Leverage research (from usability studies, surveys, interviews, etc.) and usage metrics to inform design choices.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to iteratively design, refine, and validate your solutions.
  • Sweat the small stuff – maintain strong attention to detail across your projects to ensure a delightful customer experience.
  • Positively shape the design team’s culture through collaboration, feedback, and process iteration.

Your Experience: 

  • 8+ years of professional experience in a Product Design role
  • Experience working iteratively with a fast-moving engineering and product team to meet user needs, product requirements, and strategic business objectives.
  • Demonstrated success in end-to-end ownership of meaningful features or product - taking a design from 0 to 1, from ideation through execution.
  • Comfort wearing multiple hats—jumping between UX, UI, research, and even web design if needed.
  • Experience working with complex data workflows and technical complexity preferred, but not required.

We are a distributed team with offices in Seattle, WA, Palo Alto, CA, and New York City. Teammates have the option to work remotely from anywhere in the US or from one of our offices.

Compensation:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000-$180,000. Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
