Job Summary:

One of our partners, Super T Flight School, is looking for a dedicated Class 2 or 3 Flight Instructor to join their team in Yellowknife!

With a rich history dating back to 1965 of flight training, medevac service, charter, and scheduled services, Super T Aviation offers a wealth of experience from which student pilots may draw as they pursue a career in aviation. Super T Aviation is one of the finest and most trusted aviation training facilities in Canada. Their modern facility boasts a fleet of always advancing aircraft and state of the art flight training simulators, meaning students start with an advantage unequal to most other facilities.

Super T Aviation provides flight training, charter, FBO, and aircraft maintenance services, along with an Integrated Airline Transport Pilot License Program.
In this position, you will be guiding and training 10-15 aspiring pilots, with flight instruction scheduled from April 1st, 2025 – September 30th, 2025.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Flight Instruction: Conduct ground and in-flight training for a cohort of 10-15 students, ensuring adherence to curriculum standards and safety protocols.
  • Student Assessment: Regularly evaluate student progress, providing feedback and coaching to support their development as competent pilots.
  • Lesson Planning: Prepare lesson plans that align with Transport Canada’s flight training standards, fostering a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Operational Support: Collaborate with flight school staff to ensure efficient scheduling and maintenance of training aircraft.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Class 2 or 3 Flight Instructor certification.
  • Strong Interpersonal, collaboration, presentation and communication skills
  • Significant professional aviation experience
