THE WORK

• Maintaining excellent relationship with the Client

• Prepare and deliver VAT registers for VAT returns

• Prepare Intrastat reports, ECSL ECPL and other VAT related reports if required

• Ensure timely reporting of VAT and comply with tax operational standards and procedures

• Reconcile VAT, Intrastat and ECSL ECPL reporting data

• Provide assistance for tax issues and ad hoc matters

• Support team members or other teams AP, AR on correct tax treatment and VAT coding

• Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, driving new implementations increasing the quality or automation of VAT reporting

• Performing other tax related daily tasks and interacting with team members

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• At least 3 years of experience in tax operations or tax compliance

• Very good English skills - both written and spoken

• Proven expertise in EU VAT reporting and solid understanding of VAT regulations and compliance requirements

• University degree in accounting or related field preferred

• Professional experience in SSC BPO or Big4 would be an advantage

• Practical skills in MS Office tools at a user level, and high Microsoft Excel skills

• Analytical skills with proactive approach

• Precision and attention to details, very good organizational skills

• SAP knowledge in tax accounting area
