Job Title: Senior Developer - Unix/Shell (Wholesale)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Developer (Unix/Shell) to join our Wholesale Digital Banking team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Unix/Shell scripting and front-end technologies (React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS), along with a solid understanding of digital banking applications. The role requires working in a fast-paced, Agile environment, collaborating across development, DevOps, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Digital Banking applications for Wholesale Banking customers.
Build responsive front-end components using React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
Support backend integrations and services in Oracle database environments.
Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts for batch jobs, deployments, and automation tasks.
Perform application troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
Support deployments across HPUX, Linux, and Solaris environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and infrastructure teams.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimations.
Ensure compliance with banking security, audit, and regulatory standards.
Prepare technical documentation and management reports where required.

Required Skills:

• 6-9 years of experience in software development and production support.

• Strong hands-on experience in React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

• Experience working in Unix environments (HPUX, Linux, Solaris).

• Experience developing and maintaining Unix shell scripts.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle database and SQL fundamentals.

• Experience in application troubleshooting and performance optimization.

• Good understanding of SDLC and change management processes.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Java, JSP, Spring Framework, XML, and SQL.

• Exposure to AEM Forms/Sites, TeamSite, or Web Content Management (WCM) platforms.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience working in Agile environments.

• Knowledge of management reporting processes within banking systems.
