JOB DESCRIPTION:

POSITION OF SUMMARY

Provides therapeutic interventions to promote personal growth and resiliency in the form of emotional, cognitive, behavioral and/or psychological changes in clients with a primary behavioral health diagnosis. Performs continuing assessment of the client’s needs and functioning, maintenance of appropriate documentation and development, and implementation of personal growth plans consistent with the client’s therapeutic needs.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Provides emergency crisis intervention and consultation services to clients, families, community partners and referral sources.  This includes providing crisis assessments, crisis stabilization, and crisis intervention in a community settings, by telephone, and video to recipients in crisis and facilitating appropriate linkage and referral to on-going services.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Eligible to supervise student interns as needed.
  • Maintain necessary communications and reporting with referral sources and other involved parties as approved by client.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with the clinical team. Maintain timely/accurate clinical records in accordance with organization policies.
  • Maintain effective relationships with Community referral sources.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality clinical practices.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
  • Provide excellent customer service to individuals seeking our services.

QUALIFICATIONS

         

Education Level              

Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field is required. 

Years of Experience       

Three to five years’ Crisis related work experience in behavioral health environment is preferred.  Experience in evidence-based and best practices interventions is preferred.

$48,300.00--$67,700.00
