Position Summary:

As part of the Digital Health CV and Neuroscience team, help define and develop Digital health strategy, priorities, and solutions for these therapeutic areas, related assets, and brands for BMS commercial and pipeline assets.

Key Responsibilities:
 

Technology Leadership and Strategy:

  • Work closely with Therapeutic Area and asset leads to understand key business strategies, priorities, opportunities and challenges

  • Develop, propose, and implement strategic plans for innovative Digital Health solutions that align with and address these business imperatives

  • Serve as Digital/technology SME to the asset teams. Ensure the team remains at the forefront of technological advancements, proactively propose opportunities for innovation

Solution assessment and execution:

  • Evaluate technology landscape and identify tailored technology solutions that address business challenges

  • Ensure technology solutions are aligned with business needs, drive business value and support business strategy. Obtain approval/budget for implementing such solutions through appropriate governance channels

  • Effectively translate business requirements into features and functions in technical solutions

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch and scale solutions from proof-of-concept to full implementation

  • Lead initiatives to assess and learn from launches and incorporate lessons into development of future solutions

Collaboration and Partnerships:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including brand commercial teams, R&D colleagues, BD & L, Data Science, regulatory, and other enabling functions

  • Engage with external partners, including large health tech companies, tech startups and academic institutions, to leverage cutting-edge innovative solutions

Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, health tech, healthcare, pharma marketing, or related field preferred

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, health tech, pharma marketing, or a related area, highly preferred.

Professional Experience:

  • 12 plus years of experience in digital health/health tech, or a related field.

  • Experience in CV and/or Neurology preferred

  • Proven track record of managing the development and launch of Digital Health solutions/SaMD, medical technologies, and/or AI algorithms in the healthcare space

  • Proven track record of managing third-party relationships and oversight of complex partnerships

  • Demonstrated ability in leading cross-functional teams and projects on a global scale

  • Experience with navigating complex organizations with cross functional teams and taking projects through governance processes

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of human-centered design principles and a passion for creating products that people actually use

  • Deep understanding of global regulatory requirements and compliance in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective processes.

  • Exceptional leadership and organizational abilities, with a focus on project management, leading product teams, measuring KPIs and regular stakeholder communication

  • Experience in risk management and continuous improvement methodologies

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of managing diverse stakeholder relationships.

  • Deep and enduring interest in Digital Health technologies
