An executive caregiver who excels in this role, will:
Develop strategic plans for nursing, including mechanisms to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
Lead design and implementation of assigned business plans.
Collaborate with hospital and medical staff to develop and measure performance standards.
Create continuous improvement environment promoting innovative patient care delivery and current research findings.
Develop and mentor nurse leaders and direct staff to achieve hospital goals, nursing objectives and nursing practice standards.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal caregiver include:
BSN and master’s degree in nursing, business administration, or healthcare administration
Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of Ohio
Minimum of 10 years of increasing experience in management and nursing service administration
Experience leading nurses and being an advocate for nursing
Must possess ability to work independently, meet deadlines, multiple demands and multi-task, and must work effectively with all healthcare disciplines
Preferred qualifications for the ideal caregiver include:
CNO level at a magnet system facility
