Meet the Team:

The Graphic Designer II will directly support corporate leadership and work closely with the reports team, branding, and marketing team, and other support teams. This role is mainly responsible for template creation, slide formatting, data analysis, data visualization, the transformation of “handwritten notes” and business objectives to a storyboard. The role is expected to deliver visually appealing and clean presentations with agility.

Where you Come In:

  • Support functional leaders and project stakeholders in creating and designing visually appealing presentations and proposals for internal and external audiences.
  • Work collaboratively with the executive leadership team, presentation team, and branding and marketing team.
  • Manage and leading the team of graphic designers, provide guidance and support as needed
  • Able to assign design projects to team members, ensuring workload is balanced
  • Data analysis and presentation – compiling, interpreting, and creatively presenting analyzed data.
  • Creation of storyboard from business objectives.
  • Presentations slide formatting - define the right format once and apply the same to a series of objects in the rest of the presentation or any other file. (e.g., adding borders on charts, font consistency, etc.)
  • Template creation for presentations and proposals.
  • Converting photos of handwritten notes/diagrams/whiteboard to graphs/charts
  • Works with other specialists to produce and check all presentations and related projects within Dexcom brand guidelines set by the Design Head and or Dexcom Marketing Department
  • Demonstrates capability to use Adobe Creative cloud or routine tasks, slide and page creation and image manipulation, map creation
  • Ensure quality control by checking page proofs to guarantee all comments and changes are made, and that style standards are adhered to before jobs leave the team.
  • Taking a story document and mocking up sketches or wireframes for the infographic’s layout & visuals.
  • Bringing sketches or wireframes to life, using artistic skills to produce a finished infographic.

What Makes your Succssful:

  • You must have at least 2 years of presentation design or graphic design experience; preferably, has a prior experience from a Presentation Design COEs from other organizations
  • You have extensive experience working with executive leadership, presentation team, branding, and marketing team.
  • Proficient with PowerPoint, PowerBi, Tableau, or other visualization tools.
  • Adept at template creation, slide formatting, data analysis, data visualization, the transformation of “handwritten notes” and business objectives into a storyboard.
  • You are able to express ideas clearly and convey necessary information
  • You are able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency
  • You are able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • You must be accessible at various times outside of a typical workday and possibly on weekends. Must be willing to work on the night shift.
  • You must also be self-disciplined, self-motivated, extremely flexible, detail-oriented, accurate, thorough, and dependable.
  • You must have a high level of understanding of the confidentiality of the role
  • You have knowledge of basic data analysis
  • You have experience in creating a presentation for Executive level
  • You have prior experience in creating presentations for FP&A, Sales, and Marketing
  • You have proficiency in Mac OS, Microsoft Windows
  • You can demonstrate expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel applications
  • You have experience with slide creation and animation
  • You can demonstrate expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud apps
  • You have proven graphic designing experience with a strong eye for visual composition.
  • You have background in motion graphics, photography, videography, and video production is highly desirable.
  • You have knowledge of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertising, and multimedia design is highly desirable.
  • You can keep abreast of the changing trends/needs of the target audience.
