Join AgeCare as a Consultant, Resident Safety & Quality and play a key role in the development, planning, and evaluation of the AgeCare Quality Management Program. This pivotal leadership position involves collaborating with the Operational Excellence and leadership teams to uphold AgeCare’s Mission, Vision, and Guiding Principles. You will facilitate the implementation of corporate initiatives and provide comprehensive operational support.

What You Will Do

  • Contribute to the quality and safety program by implementing best practices.
  • Recommend key indicators and reporting parameters to oversee AgeCare outcomes.
  • Develop and implement tools and resources for the quality and safety framework, including policies and audit programs.
  • Collaborate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the quality program across the organization.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to quality, safety, and resident care.
  • Ensure compliance with quality improvement and safety programs.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in health sciences required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in quality management at a corporate level in Long-Term Care.
  • Experience in Quality Management, Quality Improvement, and Patient Safety in clinical settings is an asset.
  • Proficient in computer software and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of the Senior Health Care sector and experience with the InterRAI assessment tool is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of quality standards, regulations, legislation, and guidelines in Long-Term Care, Occupational Health and Safety, and Infection Prevention.
