Job Summary

The Responsible for sales and distribution of ZOLL automatic, manual external defibrillators and accessories into specific market segments. Sales are directed through a group of national specialty manufacturer representatives for major distributors and on a direct basis as required. Dental Market is directed through specialty distributors and Manufacturer representatives. Specific market responsibilities include: Physician offices and clinics (Note hospitals containing the word "clinic" in the name are not part of the "exclusive market"). Manual defibrillators to the same market are on a non-exclusive basis.

Essential Functions

  • Travel throughout assigned region to call on current and potential Physician channels, nursing home channels, and Dental markets to include sales representatives, managers, distributors and end user customers.
  • Manage and motivate distribution channels and dental channels through strategic territory planning, product training and joint sales calls.
  • Coordinate leads, orders, and quotes through medical distributors, manufacturer reps, and dental distributors
  • Conduct Product training for distribution channels as required.
  • Develop and execute yearly corporate sales action plan. Attend national and regional trade shows as required.
  • Attend sales and marketing meetings as required.
  • Routine communication with distribution channels and ZOLL support personnel.
  • Complete and submit required administrative paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Marketing plans, coordinating execution to drive market
  • Reporting on progress so relationship gets visibility


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Four-year BS/BA college degree required
  • A minimum of five years’ experience selling capital equipment in a hospital market. required


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Defibrillator experience a plus
  • Excellent written, oral and organizational skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel as required

  • 65% travel required

Base salary $72,500 + monthly and annual commission/bonus based on performance (OTE - $175k - $200k). Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
