The Role You Could Play

We are looking for a passionate Assistant Sales Manager (2IC) to help lead our George St store in NSW in a full-time, fixed-term capacity, with the contract ending in January 2027.

You will be reporting to the Sales Manager and responsible for:

  • Living and breathing the MECCA values while leading by example.

  • Driving success and engagement across the store team by supporting performance management and upholding our company values.

  • Ensuring smooth and efficient store operations that underpin a seamless customer experience.

What You Will Bring

We're looking for an experienced and passionate leader who can engage and motivate a team, drive operational excellence, and consistently deliver against sales and KPI expectations. Along with embodying our values and brand, you will:

  • Thrive in a positive, high-energy environment and have a passion for all things beauty while consistently taking pride in your personal presentation.

  • Have a minimum of 12 months' experience in a retail leadership environment.

  • Genuinely care about people and always see through the eyes of both the customer and your team to create exceptional experiences.

  • Have a relentless pursuit of operational excellence, with demonstrated back-of-house experience highly regarded.

  • Possess exceptional communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
