  • Philippines Maritime Security Government Liaison will serve as the primary point of contact for all maritime-related coordination activities for the implementation of the Philippines Technical Refresh project with the Philippines Coast Guard, Navy, Bureau of Customs (if necessary), and other maritime agencies and stakeholders. This role facilitates operational alignment between the project team and the government partners, ensuring smooth planning and execution of scope components, including surveys, training, installation and integration, testing and commissioning activities. The position will provide situational awareness, facilitate obtaining of approvals and permits, support and represent the program along the Project Manager with stakeholders and working groups.
    Key responsibilities:
    • Daily/regular Engagement, collaboration, coordination with PCG, and maritime stakeholders
    • Support planning, coordination, and execution of all project implementation activities
    • Liaise between project management team, and implementing agencies to resolve operational or policy obstacles
    • Provide regular situational updates and coordinate government approvals as needed
    • Monitor safety and security information for the maritime project locations
