We are looking for an experienced Part Time Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our friendly Walthamstow team on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

Are you passionate about creating a better world for pets by utilising your nurse consultation skills and supporting our lovely patient care assistant.


Location: Walthamstow
Hours: 32 hours per week
Practice: Palmerston Vet Group, Walthamstow Surgery
Rota: Mixture of early and late shifts Tuesday to Friday only
Salary: Up to £31,500 (pro rata) depending on experience

Start date: 1st November 2024 to 3rd October 2025


We're looking for a part time RVN, ideally with two years post-qualification experience to join our Walthamstow team on a fixed contract covering our maternity leave. As an ideal candidate, you would have excellent communication skills, be highly organised, and able to work comfortably with autonomy in a small but busy core practice.


An RVN is crucial to our business's ability to provide patients with the highest level of clinical care and will ensure that clinical standards & nursing care are aligned supporting the patient journey. The RVN will work closely with the clinicians and their team to cultivate a positive work environment and foster the practice's growth.


An RVN responsibilities will include nurse duties such as, provision of nurse consultations, assisting with minor procedures and supporting our patient care assistant. The role will primarily focus on overseeing the daily running of our busy surgery and supporting our veterinary surgeon.
