This position directs and coordinates general management of TransUnion Consumer Interactive (TUCI) business for the HK region. Operates within an overall strategic concept set forth by International Consumer Interactive Executive Management Team.

Complete accountability and responsibility for profitability and/or results as shown on the P&L statement. Responsible for setting and measuring goals on operational effectiveness sales, profit, the acquisition of new business, consumer experience and other performance criteria.

What You'll Bring:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Master’s degree would be an added advantage , Marketing or related field (required), along with 10+ years of demonstrated management experience
  • Strong business and technical acumen. Is able to translate broader business need to discipline/area-specific goals. Is able to operate from general company plan and direction
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under aggressive deadlines. Attention to detail and strong work ethic is necessary.
  • Strong background in e-commerce, and delivering positive consumer experiences is required.
  • Conceptual thinker, team player, excellent communication skills with clients and coworkers.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence others successfully in order to obtain results. Understands impact of relations at all levels (senior management, peer and front line associates) and is able to keep in touch with and balance issues at all levels.
  • Comfortable initiating change; consciously manages and shapes change.
  • Ability to handle the stress related to balancing multiple issues and perspectives from front-line associates, customers and upper management. Is able to cope with these multiple perspectives and maintain clarity of thought process.
  • Builds alliances with and establishes communication bridge with staff, other work units, management, external partners and customers.

Impact You'll Make:

The role will be responsible for leading the Consumer Interactive Business, managing strong relationships with key clients and growing the end consumer business. S/he will provide leadership to the team and assist in setting sales goals, revenue targets and performance matrix for the team. The incumbent will be accountable for the overall performance of the team as well the alignment to the three-year business plan.

  • Business Growth - Provide strong leadership and direction to HK CI business with overall responsibility of driving revenue growth and profitability through both Direct and Indirect line of business 
  • General Management – Own near and long term strategic growth. Manage budget/ channel P&L, make the right tradeoffs to drive sustainable growth; Direct the development and maintenance of long-range operational forecasts regarding volume, market share, financial requirements, human resource needs, organizational plans, etc., and monitor the projected effects of these forecasts on business unit investment, revenues and profitability. 
  • Thought Leadership - Continue to focus and strengthen stakeholder engagements which further solidifies the brand awareness for the end consumer.  Work with the PR team to drive consumer narrative 
  • Functions as a business expert with extensive breadth of industry knowledge. Maintains an awareness of, and exercises sound business judgment in such areas as market conditions, competitive activities, general economic conditions and related frameworks and regulatory matters
  • Directs, develops, and guides a cross functional team to successful execute the tactical activities, plans and strategies of the business unit into an overall company plan to achieve maximum profits, optimum yield on invested capital and increased earnings
  • Champions the strategic direction for Consumer Interactive and translates this into actionable programs to drive growth, including marketing, product, development and sales strategies.
  • Prepares long-range operational forecasts regarding volume, market share, financial requirements, human resource needs, organizational plans, etc., and monitors the projected effects of these forecasts on business unit investment, revenues and profitability
  • Understands web analytics and analyzes performance by ROI metrics.
  • Manages department budget. Develops scopes, budgets, and cost forecasts for assigned areas. Makes recommendations for most effective use of budget and advises clients of committed and available budget.
  • Formulates overall direction of customer acquisition and retention, including customer contact strategy to increase revenue, database segmentation, and creative strategy and reporting. Conceptualizes and manages the production of all advertising for the acquisition of new customers and business clients.
  • Promotes teamwork within and across work units; meets with other work units to mutually establish goals and measures for joint processes and customer management. Establishes measures and defines the framework for their collection to ensure consistency among groups.
  • Maintains professionalism and stays abreast of new developments through contacts with educational institutions, professional organizations, publications, partners and customers.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
