Japan Channel Sales


Job Description

  • This role is for an experienced individual sales contributor, fulfilling through our defined Distribution and Channel partners in Japan
  • Responsible for solution sales selling Motorola's Safety and Security Ecosystem inclusive of AAS Voice, Video and associated products subscription services, BWV (Body Worn Video),  Security Ecosystem Solution etc. in Japan
  • Front the customer engagement, grow the solution sales business with effective business development, vertical market expansion and system integration project sales
  • Proactively develop and expand pipelines through direct customer engagement or leveraging channel partners.
  • Develop expansion business through existing and new partnerships, especially with consultants, system integrators or 3rd party application providers to create an integrated customer solution ecosystem
  • Leading the internal cross-functional team to plan the market’s GTM strategy, including Route-to-Market planning, product positioning, resource allocation, and market development.
  • Manage and enable partners with solution sales mentalities and capabilities

Basic Requirements

  • Minimum 5 Years channel sales experiences in ICT, SI, or Telecommunication Industries
  • Must have experiences in business development directly or together with partners to create customer opportunities, building up pipelines, driving deal closures.
  • Must have experiences of channel sales management, channel program operations, and partner business planning.
  • Must have successful experiences in managing a channel structure with distributor(s) and reseller (s).  Building and expanding market coverage by partner acquisition and enablement.
  • Being able to manage accurate sales forecasts, mitigate risks, create opportunities on a weekly basis with an eye to achieving quarterly and annual outcomes
  • Track record of success project win in key accounts or through strategic alliances is a plus.
  • Experiences in subscription /as a service models related to network service providers and / or application service providers is a plus
  • Sales experience in safety and security vertical industries is a plus
  • The desired candidate shall be result oriented, possessing a proactive and positive sense of owning the business.
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese.
