PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Perform administrative duties regarding construction projects that support SIMON’S Design, Engineering and Construction group.

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, polished interpersonal skills, proactive, and effective organizational skills. Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.  This position is responsible for supporting the internal business requirements of SIMON Construction Group (SCG).

Facilitate any reconciliation necessary between Proliance, JD Edwards and other possible corporate databases. Provide assistance to external users, when required, to help them understand our system and processes.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Generating contracts and change orders based on comments and redline iterations, Letters of Intent, etc.
  • Interaction with Construction Budget & Cost Management software by inputting data and monitoring document workflow.
  • Processing invoices for payment.
  • Electronic filing within file naming structure guidelines
  • Supporting multiple professional staff members potentially through:
    • Making travel arrangements and processing expenses for staff members as needed.
    • Answering multiple phone lines.
    • Opening and sorting mail and overnights.
    • Generating electronic correspondence.
    • Other tasks and/or projects as needed.
  • Utilize company cost tracking software to perform the following tasks as needed:
    • Identifying data anomalies and correcting inconsistencies
    • Resolving conflicts with JD Edwards
    • Monitoring partnership approvals
    • Communicating flow into and out of Design, Engineering & Construction budgets
