We are seeking an F1 Account Manager to join our dynamic agency team, managing and delivering global events, comprehensive partnership rights, and strategic asset utilisation for our key client. This role requires an immediate impact, driving successful outcomes for both the agency and the client account.

The F1 Account Manager will play a lead role in strategizing, planning, and executing all activations, working closely with the rightsholder and our client’s central and regional teams. Ideal candidates will have a passion for sports partnerships and F1, a strong understanding of brand awareness, and proven experience in delivering high-level events, particularly guest hospitality programs.

What you’ll be doing;

Strategic Partnership & Stakeholder Management:

  • Primary partnership management POC across internal teams, local markets, rights holders and external agencies, ensuring seamless alignment on creative asset approvals, timelines, and activation plans.
  • Act as the primary communication hub, facilitating essential channels (e.g., weekly status meetings, quarterly reviews) and driving efficient consolidation of feedback and information flow among all partners, including effective escalation management.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with clients and the F1 team, acting as a trusted advisor and confidently guiding regional teams with a solution-driven focus.

Brand & Content Governance:

  • Provide expert guidance on creative assets, steering the end-to-end approval process, through to final sign-off.
  • Lead the development of partnership guidelines, ensuring alignment with client brand guidelines, proper application of partner branding/VisID and logos, and clear do’s and don’ts.
  • Design and develop a comprehensive partnership activation playbook, outlining rights, principles, opportunities, assets, and IP usage to ensure clarity, brand integrity, efficiency, scalability, and consistent application across markets.
  • Liaise with the VML creative team on the integration of the partnership platform and activation concepts within guidelines.

Platform & Data Management:

  • Design, build, and maintain a centralized partnership hub to house partnership asset files (e.g., team logos, driver headshots, car imagery, b-roll) and serve as a single source for DRBU’s to access partnership documents.
  • Manage the setup and ongoing maintenance of creative asset and rights trackers.

F1 Activation & Event Delivery:

  • Oversee the production and distribution of all F1-related collateral and act as a key point of contact for F1-related queries from clients, regional teams, and customers.
  • Support the team in managing the delivery of F1 assets (bookings, invoicing, shipping) and producing insightful post-activation reports.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with impeccable attention to detail
  • F1 background / understanding of the sport
  • Professional experience and proven track record in end to end project management within the context of sports partnerships
  • Strong budgeting/finance skills within the context of sports partnerships
  • Ability to work independently while delivering high-quality work on deadline
  • Team player with a positive attitude and ability to lead and inspire a team
  • International mindset with the ability to operate in global regions simultaneously
  • Excellent organisation skills; confident in managing multiple work streams across various projects
  • Enthusiasm, energy and an innovative approach to the role
  • Confidence and professionalism to engage with clients at a senior level
  • Line management experience
