This role will assist the Product Development Team with day-to-day functions and responsibilities to support the hypergrowth and rapid global expansion of the brand. Someone who loves the cross-functional nature and complexity of product development, has a passion for beauty, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and excels in a passionate, collaborative culture would be successful in this role.

This role will report to the Director, Product Development. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Formula Development: Support current and new formula developments by keeping product testing trackers and documentation up to date. Prepare and distribute product samples for testing, meetings, and presentations
  • Organizational Assistance: Responsible for receiving, organizing, and coordinating the shipment of product samples
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate communication with internal teams, including Packaging Development, Project Management, Product Marketing, Creative, and Supply Chain, throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Trend Tracking: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends across body, spf, hair, and fragrance from a product and ingredient standpoint, sharing knowledge and insights with relevant teams
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Enthusiastic to contribute to a highly-collaborative environment at our NYC Headquarters 5 days a week 
  • 1-2+ years' experience in product development within the cosmetics industry. Formula development experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or relevant scientific discipline required
  • Passionate about the beauty industry
  • Creative mindset with an eye for innovation
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated organizational agility - effective in working both independently and as part of a team
  • Proven ability to deliver results on time and with excellence
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

Salary Range
$65,000$70,000 USD

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
